Rinsanga Leivang is an Indian artist of bihari and mizo descent, currently based in London. His work explores concepts surrounding his personal experiences and perspectives on restriction, childhood, and sexuality through South Asian and Queer narratives. His current work explores the misplacement of identity, as well as personal experiences of hoarding and digital accumulation. Through his art practice, Leivang interrogates the long-term effects of these concepts through mixed media sculpture, moving image, print and painting.
